Slice Wash Support Module is utilized after sliced potato washing for potato starch, slivers, and fine silt removal and recirculates cleaned water back into raw preparation processes.
SWSM supports the Slice Wash Water Recirculation phase of raw produce process water management. Fresh water that has been used for slice washing is filtered with SWSM’s system components and recirculated back into unit operations, significantly reducing overall system fresh water consumption. This system improves capture of value-added waste (starch) and will reduce fryer debris. This high efficiency system is designed to reduce energy consumption compared to alternatives.

Hydrocyclone Bundle
A patent pending component of SWSM using hydrocyclones for solids concentration and either recirculates filtered water to the process or delivers slivers and starch to waste handling or starch recovery.
