Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Book freight pickups and deliveries against standard lead times and published rates.
  • Track shipment status daily and report delays or carrier issues to the Logistics Manager.
  • Enter and verify freight costs and shipment data; flag discrepancies for review.
  • Prepare shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, commercial invoices).
  • Perform inventory transactions in SAP including receiving, transfers, and adjustments.
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
  • Identify shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies and report them for resolution.
  • Populate recurring freight, delivery, and shipment reports from established templates.
  • Collect and organize data needed for carrier performance and freight spend reviews.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Admin preferred.
  • 1–2 years of logistics, transportation, shipping, warehouse, or supply chain experience.
  • Has used an ERP system.
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
  • Knows freight documentation carrier websites, parcel systems, and shipment tracking tools.
     

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance.
