Position Summary

Responsible for managing and executing all payroll processes to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. The role involves coordinating with human resources and finance departments, maintain records, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for weekly and biweekly employees
  • Process onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Verify timekeeping records, wages, and resolve discrepancies
  • Document and provide training on UKG usage for new and current employees
  • Review and update confidential employee data in UKG Kronos
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns related to payroll and benefits
  • Process union paperwork and benefits
  • Submit bi-weekly census reports to benefit broker for new hires, terminations, and updates
  • Prepare various reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with internal and external audits

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of HCM and/or HRIS experience
  • 3+ years of full-cycle, multi-state experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, with strong knowledge of Excel
  • Understand multiple states payroll processing and labor laws (preferred)
  • UKG Kronos experience preferred
  • Basic accounting skills a plus
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus
