We uphold consistent human rights standards that meet or exceed all applicable laws, regulations, and standards across our operations. Our approach is grounded in internationally recognized frameworks, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs), and the International Labor Organization (ILO) Core Conventions.
2.2 Worker Protections and Labor Conditions
We prohibit all forms of forced, bonded, or child labor, and maintain that all work is freely chosen and performed under fair and lawful conditions. We recognize and respect employees’ rights to organize, unionize, and engage in collective bargaining.
We verify employees’ ages and benchmark wages, benefits, and remuneration to maintain fairness and promote working conditions that meet or exceed legal requirements and are consistent with industry standards. Working hours, wages, and benefits are communicated transparently to employees to promote fairness, safety, and well-being.
Consistent with our Health and Safety Policy, we maintain a safe and healthy work environment through clear site-level protocols, regular training, internal and external risk assessments, preventative measures, and incident remediation procedures to enable continuous improvement.
2.3 Fair Treatment and Non-Discrimination
We uphold respect, dignity, and equal opportunity at all levels of our organization. Employment decisions are based on merit, competence, and performance, free from bias. Harassment, discrimination, abuse, or unfair treatment based on individual identity characteristics are not tolerated.
2.4 Grievance Mechanisms
We maintain accessible and confidential channels for employees, contractors, and partners to raise concerns. Reports can be made through a supervisor, HR representative, or via ComplianceTeam@heatandcontrol.com. All reports are addressed with fairness and integrity, investigated appropriately, and safeguarded from any retaliatory action.
