Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design and create electrical schematics for UL and CE listed industrial control panels using Bentley Promis.e design software based on reference designs, motor and device lists, and customer specifications.
  • Create PLC programs in RSLogix 500 and 5000 and OIT screens using FactoryTalk View, with Wonderware experience a plus.
  • Oversee the manufacturing of control panels and PLC and OIT programs testing
  • Specify purchased components (power protection components, PLCs, safety circuit components), Create new part numbers in SAP.
  • Write engineering test requests and reports a to qualify new components or verify system performance.

Qualifications

  • BSEE or AS in Industrial Controls with PLC Programming
  • Proficient with Bentley Promis.e, Rockwell RSLogix 500/5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk, Connected Components Workbench a plus
  • Experienced with UL 508A, IEC, ISO, and CE and proficient in design of 24VDC control/safety circuits thru 575VAC 3PH power circuits.
  • Occasional travel to customer facilities
