- 1 to 2 years previous sandblasting experience
- High school degree or GED
- Ability to pass basic manufacturing and math skills tests
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance
- Ability to reach over head for short durations and in front of body to hold or manipulate items and perform work. ex: items placed on a work table
- Ability to stand for 30-45 minutes at a time and to kneel or squat for hard to reach places.
- Ability to twist or bend at waist and ability to stoop or bend to perform work, to inspect work, or to pick up an object
- Mobility in wrists, arms and elbows sufficient to wipe or polish a surface
- Ability to see and inspect finish quality with or without corrective eye ware
- Stamina to work 8 hours per day with occasional overtime required
- No restrictions that would prevent the use of personal safety gear including safety glasses, dust mask, safety gloves, steel toe work shoes
- The ability to wear a blasting hood with an approximate weight of 4 pounds during sandblasting booth duty
