Job Responsibilities Include

  • Developing customer relationships in multiple states
  • Acts as sales team member (at times leading this team and other times in a support role)
  • Understanding and gathering customer requirements
  • Mapping requirements to Heat and Control solutions
  • Engage the customer with our Application Engineering team
  • Meeting sales goals using negotiation and closing skills
  • Understand competition's product line’s strengths and weaknesses
  • Traveling to customer locations to get a first-hand perspective of their facility and to provide solutions regarding current and future projects and equipment
  • Interfacing, coordinating, influence, and working with internal groups, to include:
    • Applications Engineers
    • Project Engineers
    • Project Managers
    • Heat and Control product line sales/service teams to coordinate overall system proposals and to solve customer related issues
  • Proficiently utilize different software programs including:
    • CRM - must be detailed and diligent in entering data in CRM
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint for general daily activities

Required Education and Experience

  • 5 Years of Outside Sales Experience, preferably with Industrial Equipment
  • 2-year Associates of Applied Science degree in an engineering-related field, or
  • 4-year Bachelor degree in engineering or engineering-related field
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, with the ability to articulate the concepts to customers
  • Business Software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
