A great career opportunity exists for an Industrial Electrician, whose role's primary responsibility is the installation and commissioning of equipment, the hand-over to customers and obtain project acceptance on installation sites world-wide.
Job Responsibilities Include
Commissioning of food processing systems, plant/machinery, parts, and electrical equipment.
Installation of processing equipment.
Supervision of on-site personal.
Providing assistance with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs.
Respond to and arrange repair of system/equipment breakdown.
Customer training.
Produce a report for each project.
Overseas Travel
Required Education and Experience
Electrical Ticket/Licence, preferably in Queensland, but NSW or Victoria would be suitable.
At least 5 years’ experience with PLC, specifically Allen Bradley and Siemens.
Familiar with networking, VFD (variable frequency drives), control loops, temperature controllers.
Familiarity with burner and burner controls
Experience in the food industry is preferred, but not essential.
Great trouble shooting skill.
The ability to travel at short notice and for extended periods of time.
An understanding of equipment technical specifications and application to processing systems.
Be able to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Well-developed planning and organisational skills
Work Environment
Working with the Commissioning Team at the Head Office in Australia, located in Mount Gravatt East, Brisbane, Queensland.
Ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally.
