Frequently Asked Question

Question:

My products are fragile and often coated with seasoning that can fall off during conveying. This is costing us big time, do you have a solution?

Answer:

Because vibratory conveyors bounce product along the pan, they cause significant coating loss. This creates hard-to-clean build-ups in the conveyor pan and a serious loss of product quality and yield. Vibratory systems stall frequently under heavy product loads causing further product loss from spillage. And using vibratory conveyors for short-term accumulation typically results in thawing and costly bulk-offs.

The gentle slow-forward fast-back motion of FastBack conveyors eliminates these problems for product distribution, weigher feeding, and in-line accumulation. FastBacks improve production efficiency in many ways:
  • Improve yields & quality by reducing coating loss
  • Reduce coating build-up, product spills and cleaning costs
  • Dependable performance under heavy loads
  • No preventative maintenance needed
  • One-piece stainless steel pans simplify cleaning
  • Modular support platforms minimize installation costs
  • Quiet operation reduces worker fatigue and noise control costs
