Rapid Deployment of a new product handling and packaging system at Poore Brothers cut usual installation time by one-third, drastically reducing installation costs and allowing the Goodyear, Arizona snack manufacturer to get back into production weeks earlier, at double their
production capacity!
Poore Brothers selected six Ishida Millennium™ weighers, six Ishida Apex® bagmakers, and 28 FastBack® horizontal motion conveyors to deliver the higher speeds, reduced maintenance and labor costs, and lower bag film costs that they needed.
To accelerate the installation of this extensive system, they also chose Heat and Control Rapid Deployment™ weigher and conveyor support platforms. These platforms, shipped as bolt-together sections, were delivered pre-wired and plumbed, complete with lights, railings and stairways.
